Shoreditch and it's surrounding areas offer some of the tastiest coffee, most authentic cuisines, cult clubs and greatest galleries the capital has to offer. We have been in the area for 5 years now, made a lot of friends and know where to go and what to avoid. Use our guide to experience the area like a local.

Birthdays is the new kid the block. The basement club located just North of Dalson has already hosted some of
the most memorable parties of the year. Expect everything from psychedelic rock to 90’s R&B. They also have a
brilliant diner on the ground floor called Rita’s.

A lunch spot / supermarket for all the super food and vegan heads out there. Hummus and fresh salads a plenty with
wall to wall organic juices that are all held together with soundtrack from Queens Of The Stone Age to The Beach Boys. We love it.

The park that hipsters forgot. Located just south of the Instagram-tastic London Fields is a tranquil suntrap that has an
equal ratio of local mums to hoodlums. You’ll be afforded a grassy patch big enough to accommodated even the most
generous picnic rug.

Formally the home to the Krays, East London’s most notorious gangsters, here you have a real East End boozer.
Expect amazing bar food, world beers and lock-ins. A true local only you wont get beaten up.

One of the many, new, independent coffee shops to arrive in the area. It  is frequented by Ronnie Wood and is a dedicated
Espresso bar run by some of the best Aussie baristas in London – they know their stuff.

If your looking for a face melting sound system, white label beats and some of the best producers London has to offer Plastic People
is the place to head. The likes of Four Tet, Hudson Mohawk, Kode9 and James Blake have all graced the desks at this historic venue
on Curtain Road, Shoreditch.

This tiny basement cocktail bar is situated underneath a kebab shop on Great Eastern St. Dress code stresses no suits and booking is essential.
There is little information on this place but we assure you the drinks are seriously special and not seriously overpriced.

Needoos Grill
87 New Road, Shadwell

Needoos Grill is located off the beaten track in Shadwell and specialise in creating authentic, mouth watering and spicy Punjabi dishes East London
has to offer. You won’t find your regular Balti or Korma here. Ignore the tourist trap of Bricklane head to Needoos and eat with the locals and your own beers - BYOB.
