Whether you're after a little something new for yourself or you're searching for the ideal scented gift for Christmas, we've got it covered with new scents from Comme des Garçons and Aesop and total favourites from Escentric Molecules, D.S & Durga and MCMC Fragrances.
Since debuting in 1981, the Comme Des Garcons empire has grown to not only incorporate many clothing diffusion lines, but one of the most iconic perfume lines in the world.
Like it's parent brand, the Comme Des Garcons perfume range is characterized by it's constant innovation and reinvention, in terms of it's scents but also in terms of the brand identity, with the packaging among some of the best and most unique on the market.
Founded in 2009, family-owned MCMC Fragrances creates scents that are original and made with the highest quality ingredients. Each fragrance is individually formulated by Anne McClain, who studied natural perfumery and aromatherapy before moving on to Grasse Institute, the renowned perfumery school in Southern France for an intensive study of the history, techniques and practices of modern perfumery.
Based in Brooklyn, NY, Annie and her sister, Katie, produce small batch, hand-mixed, and hand-bottled fragrances. Using a range of exotic, fresh and warming scents, the collection is versatile and offers signature scents for both men and women.
Escentric Molecules owes its existence to an aroma-molecule that does not exist in nature. Iso E Super was created in a laboratory at IFF in 1973. It remained unknown outside the world of perfumery until the launch of Escentric Molecules, though its elusive presence hovers at relatively low concentrations in the background of many fragrances for both men and women. Among perfumers, it is prized for its velvety, cocooning effect.
When perfumer Geza Schoen first smelt Iso E Super in isolation, something clicked. He realised that the common denominator in all the fragrances he liked was that they contained a large dose of it. His proposal was bold. He would create two fragrances in homage to this enigmatic attractant. One fragrance would contain an unprecedented 65% of the molecule. The rest of the formula would consist of ingredients designed to underscore its low-lit mood. If this was a radical move, the second fragrance was totally non-conformist. It would contain only the molecule Iso E Super. It enhances the natural pheromones of the wearers skin.
Aesop's flagship scent, Marrakech is a unique woody, oriental blend balanced by a fresh floral top and spicy notes, produced with Aesop's famous environmental principles.
All Aesop products including hair, skin, body care and perfumes are created at their custom built laboratory by a skilled team of skin scientists.
