The eagle-eyed amongst you will have noticed a few changes to goodhoodstore.com’s website recently and with these changes come some new and exciting high-end brands – so we thought we’d give you the low-down and introduce you to some of our latest designers. The first is a new luxury brand from the Italian company Slam Jam called Be Positive. The great thing about this new line is it brings to the UK styles and shapes that, until now, had only really been seen in Japan. Now bear in mind that Be Positive are following high end brands such as Supreme, A-Life and goodhood brand Gourmet (check out their range in our store) so they have a lot to live up to!
Take a look at their range in our store and we think you’ll agree that they’re doing pretty damn well so far! Their range is a fusion of different styles and they’ve mixed together classic design cues to great effect and their range of hiking-esque boots give us a few clues as to what style will be joining the deck shoes as the must-have style of choice! Mixing leather uppers and retro-sneaker style gum soles brings a really contemporary feel to their shoes (this is one of the major elements often seen in the Japanese market) and their choice leathers is spot on. They’ve chosen mainly neutral shades with a couple of stand-out exceptions like the cow-hide style leather of the women’s “Chukka” ankle boot.
