October 19th, 2011 by KyleWe are all super pleased to have been included in Gestalten’s new book on brand experience showcasing some of the most dynamic retail environments around the world. Amongst mega brands with mega budgets the likes of, Audi, Nike, Reebok, Dior and spaces designed by highly acclaimed design houses like Wonderwall, sits our humble store in Hoxton, London. As an independent we feel this is an immense achievement, and are flattered with Gestalten’s recognition.
Pambook Launches New Website
February 17th, 2010 by redFollowing on from the recent reports on their latest 2010 collection, we’re pleased to announce that our friends Shauna and Mischa at goodhood brand Perks and Mini have just launched a great new website for their publishing company Pambook. We’ve been huge fans of Pambooks since Shauna and Mischa launched it five years ago and we always like to give props to them for deciding to do it in order to work with, and gain exposure for, some of their favourite photographers and artists with great art books produced in limited runs of 1000 copies, each in a compact and uber-cool A5 format (as always, the devil’s in the details!).
Sought After Classic Graf zine – Wetpaint
February 4th, 2010 by KyleCheck these grabs from a recent out bidding on the bay of dismay. For those that don’t know about Wetpaint, it was a seminal British graf fanzine created by Russell Maurice of Gasface fame. The unique “book mark” format and the low tech photo copied style, with selected colour photocopied pages made it stand above others of the period. Check the date 1992!! Thats 18 years ago kids! I used to pick mine up from Edinburgh’s Quaterback (haha) one of the first stockists. Its great to see these fanzines and Russell’s handywork getting the respect they deserve from collectors. Russell Maurice.
