The Basement on City Road EC1 hosts the album launch of The Time And Space Machine album next Friday. The projects is a summation of Richard Norris’s vast collecting, writing and releases about Psych music. Previous releases have already been lauded by some very high profile remixes – expect cathedral organs, backwards guitars and plenty of phasers meshed into one blissful cosmic harmony. The event will also be hosted by Leo Zero (ahead of his upcoming Stussy releases) and Paul Insect as well as a rare Pink Floyd screening. Sure to be a special night – dont miss!

Paris Menswear Shows quickie…
January 25th, 2010 by KyleOk so us and just about everybody else was in Paris this weekend for the menswear shows.. we normally do our best to try and keep a low profile – we just aren’t the rag ‘tradey’ type, and trotting round the trade shows can be a trully laborious task.. however the menswear weekend is definitely a lot more chilled out than the woman’s and aside from seeing some proper good stuff we met some great people. Seeing as Shoreditch seems to be the new hot spot to open a shop we cant share with you what we will be getting in, its getting ‘oh so’ competitive out there… bring it on we say.
Here’s a couple of my thoughts…
Bernhard Willhelm – DYSFASHIONAL exhibition
November 13th, 2009 by redWe’ve just found out that goodhood brand Bernhard Willhelm are representing as part of the DYSFASHIONAL exhibition at the Passage du Désir in Paris and then at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin when it moves there next year. The exhibition is a celebration of fashion and design in which designers create art installations that represent them and their work as designers or as the marketing material puts it “present installations which reflect their imagination and creative universe, rather than their collections” so expect some really interesting pieces.
Peckham People
November 10th, 2009 by SkillaWhere did all the East London warehouse parties go?
Check the brilliance of Peckham Audio Club’s latest offering- that’ll be SOUTH EAST I say. Everything you need to know in advance, including the £2 door donation towards what will be a very good 6k sound system. I suggest a more generous donation, as DJ’s need to get paid too.
Register early.
