One of the brands we don’t stock yet but always like to keep an eye on is Comme des Garcons, and you look back through the journal at some of the stuff that caught our eye, you’ll see why! One of the recent releases that we liked was the old skool lo top trainer with the double rows of eyelets that had a whiff of the “Chuck Taylor” about them. We can’t have been the only people that gave positive feedback because now they’ve gone balls out and collaborated directly with Converse on the Comme des Garcons x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star which comes in both the lo-top and hi-top silhouettes.

Ok this has got the office split. Could you don your sartorial cap and make way with a pair of classic English brogue meets Nordic zeitgeisty fisherman shoes. Be excited! Today we bring you a sneaky peek at some up and coming spring 2010 releases from one of our favourites, Gourmet Shoes. First off we have the new “Nove” shoe (which can be spotted in the video for “Bringing it Back” by Master Shortie if you want to see how good they look in action) which is a very simple, clean cut hi-top trainer with fairly thick white gum sole. Now you know we love our exclusive, unique footwear, you just need to take a look at our Gourmet and Be Positive ranges to see that. In fact, it’s fair to say that we love pretty much everything exclusive and unique – that’s why we do what we do after all – and recently one of our very individual jewelry designers, Sabrina Dehoff, has released a range that crosses from “traditional” jewelry items into something new and very exciting – trainer jewelry. Sabrina started her jewelry label in Berlin in 2006 after studying Fashion Womenswear at the Royal College of Art in London and spending some time working for the likes of Lanvin and Guy Laroche in Paris.
