Near the end of last year we showed you some previews of the up and coming collection from goodhood brand Von Sono – remember those amazing 3D faces on the knitwear? If not, take a look back through the journal – we’d never seen anything quite like them and they’ve got definite “wow” factor!

Goodhood, Guardian G2 & lazy journalism.

January 25th, 2010 by Kyle

An old Goodhood store tote was recently featured in the Guardians G2. Nice to see it getting a bit of press, it has been featured in the guardian before… howver after reading the article, i was left wondering; “what was the point in that.”I mean the whole article could have been condensed into one sentence; “Ive got a lot of canvas totes now.” I know for the most part journalists are incapable of finding out any journalism worthy content, but how about giving us some info G2. Why not let us know what has the worse carbon footprint, the plastic bag or the canvas tote? Some statistics? Figures? anything really that can add to the progression of a less wasteful society.  More examples of lazy journalism to follow.

Paris Menswear Shows quickie…

January 25th, 2010 by Kyle

Ok so us and just about everybody else was in Paris this weekend for the menswear shows.. we normally do our best to try and keep a low profile – we just aren’t the rag ‘tradey’ type, and trotting round the trade shows can be a trully laborious task.. however the menswear weekend is definitely a lot more chilled out than the woman’s and aside from seeing some proper good stuff we met some great people. Seeing as Shoreditch seems to be the new hot spot to open a shop we cant share with you what we will be getting in, its getting ‘oh so’ competitive out there… bring it on we say.

Here’s a couple of my thoughts…
