April 8th, 2010 by KyleThe Basement on City Road EC1 hosts the album launch of The Time And Space Machine album next Friday. The projects is a summation of Richard Norris’s vast collecting, writing and releases about Psych music. Previous releases have already been lauded by some very high profile remixes – expect cathedral organs, backwards guitars and plenty of phasers meshed into one blissful cosmic harmony. The event will also be hosted by Leo Zero (ahead of his upcoming Stussy releases) and Paul Insect as well as a rare Pink Floyd screening. Sure to be a special night – dont miss!

Perks & Mini blog
April 1st, 2010 by KyleIn case you didn’t know. Pam aka Perks & Mini aka Shauna & Misha have a blog on slamxhype. Why am i telling you about this? Well, to me traditionally perks & mini are not natural bloggers (i hope they don’t take offense from this). They are artists and designers expressing themselves through their visuals and clothes, not through their opinions/ purchases or who they just met for lunch. Sooo the inner world of the 2 is a relatively private/unknown place, which for me makes it an interesting blog to peruse, i for one am intrigued by the dwellings and doings of our neighbour’s all the way over in sunny oz. Check their blog here.
