et_sindyOk so we were all over in Paris this weekend for, you know Paris fashion week. This is normally always such a slog – Paris during fashion week is hard work. Its so busy you can be waiting hours to get a table in a restaurant, add to that the service from the waiters and we start to spiral downwards. Oh on top of that everybody is dressed to the nines in haute couture thinking their some sort of fashionista blessing the earth with their presence – its not long before we are pining for the east end where our style and attitude feels more at home! aaah we’re back. Ok but this time it was a little easier, we stayed with friends – Thanks Malin, and we managed to wreck it in just 2 days!

Ok so we want to let you know a little of what we saw and what to expect for next summer, i know your just getting your head round winter and we are already talking about summer, we dont want to bore you though so we’ll keep it brief: Peter Jensen – shortest short shorts i ever saw, Wood Wood – still going strong added in some great luggage pieces! PaM – Smurftastic :) , Von Sono – cut & sew skull tees – your gonna love them! Vibskov – prints were bodacious. Alexandra Cassaniti – showroom was so short i couldn’t stand up straight. Bernhard Willhelm – bumped into the bstore guys – nice to say hi! Rittenhouse – just keeps getting stronger! Final Home – Added in some bright wind sheeters for summer – lush!

We had a visit to new shop “Merci.” This store is hyped and it is indeed an impressive space, fashion wise its all pretty commercial but the interiors section had a nice mix of rustic and modern pieces. Sunday morning – the vintage market in Pigale was great, we found a giant E.T.!! Breakfast at Rose Cafe (ala Dover Street Market) was delicious but pound to euro rate is pretty sobering – your looking at 40 quid for 2 fry ups and juices. uuugh!

leaving thought… People begging with their pet rabbits whats up with that?
