We’re getting a great response from people about one of the more recent additions to the goodhood family of brands – Danish born Peter Jensen. Peter is based just round the corner in Hackney and we’ve recently just had a fresh drop of his half cable knit sweaters so go and check them out in the store when you’re done! We’ve also just finished taking a look at some of the previews of his spring 2010 collection and we absolutely love it.
Over all the collection has a very innocent feel to it and some of the pieces play with an almost nerd like fashion sense and a suggestion of social awkwardness such as the extremely short shorts and some of the patterned knitwear. Some of the cuts and silhouettes, especially some of the trousers, have a really relaxed feel to them whilst some pieces such as the box cut jacket (pictured) with its fashionably awkward proportions have a slightly for formal cut to them. In summary the collection looks set to be an absolute winner and it reminds us just why we love Peter and his work.
