Norse Projects have been pushing all the right buttons recently and this is no exception. Here we see them teaming up with extreme outdoor brand Elka. Putting together a stylish yet practical raincoat. This coat is lightweight, breathable and has plenty of detailing to keep them geeks happy. But I forgot one thing, this is proper raincoat so you wont be getting wet if it suddenly decides to rain cats and dogs. This will be available from goodhood store next winter.

Check out this limited edition T-shirt and by limited we literally mean 50. A collaboration between Micha Hollenbach a.k.a. Mr Super Perks from P.A.M, who has previously put together a collection of illustrations for Gomma’s Poster Magazine AMORE in Berlin and Gomma a record label from Germany.

You may or may not know that one of the best clubs in the country is in danger of being closed down. The legendary Plastic People has been host to some of the most influential DJ’s, Producers and Musicians who have helped shape the underground and electronic music scene. Famous for its unique sound system, which is capable of transcending the listener through the shear quality and pureness of sound. Enough bass to shake every bone in your body. We have been keeping an eye on Karen Walker recently and here is a quick look at what she has to offer this Srping… expect anoraks in all variations, as well as mini ruffled dresses and a variety of khaki and of course some nautical inspired striped separates.

The “techno-chic” eyewear brand Mykita are known for their highly innovative functional designs, comprising of simple plug connections made with complex soldering techniques. Incredibly light weight, stylish shades for the coming months.

The quintessential moccasin sneaker hybrid is often described as one of the all time greats. Over the years the design has been through numerous renditions and variations but Visvim have just announced the surprise re-release of the original design in three colourways – black, sand and brown – all of which feature the classic all-suede upper with the signature leather fringe and string / bead detailing. Find them at wherever they are stocked.

The Chuck Taylor is a design classic and designer Rei Kawakubo has put CdG’s luxury stamp on it for their Spring 2010 range and the release is also timed to help converse celebrate their 100th birthday. Both the hi and lo styles are available in black or off-white and all feature the bug-eyed heart designed by graphic artist Filip Pagowski which is a signature of the CdG Play range from which they come.

As you can see from the stills we’ve pictured the film is stunningly shot and it has been described as having a “romantically airy” feel. The clothes have been shot on three very different Scandinavian landscapes and it was premiered at Copenhagen Fashion Week to fantastic feedback. Overall it took three days to shoot but the end result is well worth checking out and it’s an obvious, yet under used, method of showing new releases. The frames are an evolution of some of their previous designs and they’ve got a great 1940’s feel to them, especially with their modern-vintage horn-rimmed-esque silhouette. They went perfectly with all the fur collars and jumpsuits and had a very glamorous look to them, especially in the tortoiseshell, but the one that really caught our eye was the black and white tortoiseshell finish which stood out a mile (pictured). Other finishes include all black and a white finish, but whichever one you go for, retro-chic and style is guaranteed.

Love a bit of strong British underground music?

Grime may have died when Dizzee released Bonkers, I’m not sure. I still love Dizzee and I still like a lot of grime-y music. Dubstep has definitely taken the underground crown in the last few years.. but what happened to the raw talent of recording MC’s? I was starting to feel like we were at some kinda standstill, until a few weeks ago when my friend played me the hot new Tinie Tempah banger. Erm, it’s really pretty sick. Definitely a new sound I’m ready for.
