FPAR

Tokyo, Japan

An instrumental figure in the Harajuku street scene that developed in the 90’s, Tetsu Nishiyama went on to start WTaps, and his more personal project, FPAR (Forty Percents Against Rights), characterized by their brilliant slogan T-Shirts and hoodys, as well as collections of jackets, hats and accessories.

The brand’s manifesto is simple; to sabotage the fabricated information regulated by mass media using immediately effective forms of expression, and has traditionally been fairly hard to get hold of outside of Japan.
