Full Time Artworking & Graphics Paid Internship

 

This full time artworking and graphics internship is an opportunity for a recent graduate to be right at the heart of an expanding E-Commerce business with a highly cultural and creative outlook. You will be responsible for retouching product imagery and the uploading of products to the Goodhood website, as well as optimising products to industry standard in the back end and getting involved in other graphic based projects when required.

Digital Design Manager


We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated person to join our growing E-Commerce team. The ideal candidate will display an intuitive understanding of the culture of Goodhood and be able to contribute ideas and fulfil the creative vision across multiple channels. The candidate will have a 360 degree approach to marketing and creative that leads to increased engagement, awareness and sales. The role will be responsible for leading the team of creatives within the e-commerce team to meet daily, weekly and long-term deliverables. This multi-faceted role requires an individual with exceptional design skills in typography, digital layout, print design, art direction and copy writing while understanding the commercial objectives of the business and be able to answer them with disruptive and engaging ideas. The role requires cross department communication, liaising and strategising with e-commerce managers, press/marketing managers and brand managers to ensure consistency in messaging whilst delivering increased sales and awareness.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design team and ensure daily, weekly and long-term deliverables are met 
  • Maintain and develop Goodhood’s visual assets across the e-commerce business and ensure visual consistency across Goodhood channels 
  • Be able to work with the Creative Director and 3rd Parties to execute disruptive and market relevant ideas
  • Conceptualise designs for editorial content including fashion editorial spreads, interview features, and articles 
  • Drive forward all visual concepts across digital channels, including Social, Newsletters, and Paid Advertising.
  • Collaborate with the technology team and user experience specialists to provide web and interaction designs for online projects and features

We are looking for a commercially-orientated and results driven person to join our growing E-commerce team. The ideal candidate would have a strong understanding of the Goodhood audience and it’s growth potential into new markets. The role will be responsible for developing channel specific strategies to reach and engage, both new and existing customers, whilst delivering positive ROI results. The role is an exciting opportunity with great responsibility and dedicated budgets, in an agile and rapidly growing company. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Running all performance marketing channels including Social Media Advertising, PPC, Affiliates, SEO, Display & Retargeting, with key focus on driving the growth of these channels through clearly defined KPI’s
  • Building a best-in-class, performance-optimised PPC strategy and own the day-to-day execution and optimisation of the accounts
  • Managing dedicated budgets, and forecasting to deliver efficient return on investment
  • Analysing and translating data from web analytics into actionable plans.
  • Adopting a continual ‘test and learn’ approach to all paid marketing initiatives
  • Analysing keyword costs, ad copy, landing pages, and cost per conversion
  • Identifying and informing management of opportunities, potential risks, and other key issues
  • Continually improving SEO effectiveness to reduce reliance on PPC
  • Working on all aspects of SEO, including research, strategy and implementation, to enhance organic search visibility
  • Monitoring KPI’s  and optimising CPA and ROI on all campaigns; compiling Weekly Reports to management 
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting on SEO performance and trends
  • Keeping abreast of white hat and black hat tactics to avoid violation of search engine guidelines

Skills & Experience

  • Hands on experience developing and implementing PPC and SEO strategies within a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Adwords, Search Console and Social Advertising
  • Good knowledge of technical SEO enhancements would be advantageous
  • Commercially-minded and results driven with the ability to work towards metrics, and manage budgets
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment, and proven ability to deliver to tight deadlines

Job Description

  • Work with the creative designers and owners of Goodhood at creative sessions and inspiration work.
  • Facilitate research and development of inspiration and ideas – design, fit, fabric, colour, print, Graphics etc.
  • Produce high quality design ideas and sketches for review and discussion with the CDs.
  • Produce technical specification drawings in a digital format.
  • Participate in fit sessions with production manager, being highly focused on fit.
  • Create tech packs with production manager specifying all trims, fabrication etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring all collection overviews are updated so communication on the collection is clear to all other departments.
  • Participate in the inspiration, idea development and organisation of shoots and presentations of the collection.
  • Establish effective working relationships with freelance and in-house designers.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working in the high-end sector clothing within the UK and Europe is essential.
  • Experience in lifestyle accessories and homeware would be good.
  • Good supplier and production contacts essential in order to facilitate the set-up of the in-house brand across womenswear, menswear and homeware.
  • Excellent Technical understanding of garment construction and patterns.
  • Highly organised with previous experience of critical path management and meticulous attention to detail.
  • An ability to establish solid working relationships and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good team player, able to work professionally and respectfully with other members of staff.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Knowledge of production software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Job Description

  • Manages critical path for the entire design and development process with studio and manufacturers, to ensure deadlines for prototypes, fittings, samples, production and prices are met.
  • Conducts and/or participates in weekly team meetings to ensure teams are aligned and makes sure to address issues on time.
  • Is the key point of contact with manufacturers and suppliers and follows all sourcing and ordering and production information and makes sure all info is kept up to date.
  • Orders accessories and parts.
  • Supports developers and factories by monitoring the status of incoming materials - both in the case of samples and final production items.
  • Ensures that production capacity and availability is managed at partner factories.
  • Works closely with Designer and Creative Director to get approval on the incoming materials and accessories required for products and follows up with suppliers in case of complaints or issues.
  • Assists in finding suitable manufacturers for the product line based on the plans and concepts of the Designer.
  • Prepares all materials and accessories required for production and ensures timely delivery and shipment to manufacturers from the warehouse.
  • Responsible for creation of tech packs for each style, ensuring accuracy in information throughout the process and defining factory allocation for each range.
  • Prepares all documentation necessary for the shipment of materials and final products.
  • Responsible for comments on the various development samples throughout proto, pre-production and production stages - making sure all relevant stakeholders are kept in the loop.
  • Oversee and organize production and fit sessions and take comments, provide proactive and focused input to ensure further production processes run smoothly Managing workload and deadlines for freelance pattern cutters, planning meetings for pattern hand over and fittings.
  • Managing fit model bookings for entire collection and keeping track of fitting model budget.
  • Owns and documents sample orders and is able to report on their status at any given time.
  • Prepares cost sheets and updates them regularly.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as Merchandising, Marketing and PR.

We are looking for dedicated members of staff to join our growing Stockroom & Warehouse team.  The role is based in Goodhood’s Warehouse in East London. A valid driver’s license essential is for full-time applicants, but is not necessary for Xmas Temp applicants.

 

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing of online sales.
  • Replenishment of stock to the store.
  • Checking off deliveries and pricing goods.
  • Maintaining the stockrooms high standards, organisation and cleanliness.
  • Assisting with stock takes.

  • A keen interest and knowledge of Goodhood and the brands we stock.
