Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

I bought them all at different occasions, but the track pants I bought recently, just because I liked them. I woke up and picked them from my wardrobe, no particular reason why I decided to put them together.

Spring is here, how are you finding the transition style wise?

Fun!

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

I get cold very easily, so I keep an Aries cardigan with me a lot. It goes well with everything and is easy to carry in my bag.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

The shirt was a no-brainer - Wacko do Hawaiians better than anyone else and the print is one of the best I've seen. The YMC jeans are pretty neutral, so they're super easy to wear with pretty-much anything. The cropped cut is winner for me too. The Porter bag is an essential really, perfect size for carrying around your wallet, keys, phone etc.

Spring is here, how are you finding the transition style wise?

Pretty good really. It’s nice to be able to ditch the heavy coats and get some lighter layers back out.

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

Printed Hawaiian shirts on heavy rotation.

It gets quite sweaty on the tube; do you have tip overcome this?

Avoid it at all costs! We’re finally seeing the first glimpses of sunshine so get walking and make the most of it whilst you can.

Is there a big event or holiday you have planned for this year, and if so, do you have a key outfit planned?

I’ve got a couple of trips planned in the summer so I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on a pair of Cutler and Gross 1273-08 - Gold Metal Black Sunglasses. They’re a classic shape and the engraving detail across the frame is pretty killer.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

They are all pieces I’ve bought over time for different reasons. The P.A.M. tee is probably the closest I'll get to owning an Axolotl for now; the skirt is an old Christmas number, the Converse were a purchase prepping for summer and the rings were collected over time. A longsleeve with a midi skirt works perfectly in the temperamental weather at the moment, plus I liked that the flames from the tee and skirt sort of match. Monotone Cons go with anything, plus a light jacket because I can just chuck it on.

Spring is here, how are you finding the transition style wise?

I'm actually quite enjoying this transitional period, you can layer lighter pieces instead of covering up with hoodies etc, which means outfits are generally a bit more interesting.

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

Probably a short sleeve shirt; I have a leopard print one which works with everything. I wear mine open over tees, it gives off a summery vibe whilst keeping me a bit warmer. I always check menswear for these kinds of items, being a bit oversized works well for layering - I love Our Legacy’s orange short sleeve; Aries do some fun ones too.

Have you got a key summer purchase on the cards?

Nothing set in stone yet, but I need a pair of Suicokes, so that’s next on my list.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

I really love this Brain Dead x Sasquatchfabrix. hoodie, I wear it a lot. That whole collection was so killer come to think about it. The quality and comfort of Sasquatch's sweats are unbeatable - it's like wearing something vintage. Elsewhere the outfit is just a combination of colour - I like purple - and pure comfort. Consciously or not, it just so happens to cover pretty much all of my favourite brands: Unused, Sasquatchfabrix., Brain Dead, Needles and Vans

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

Hmm maybe patterned shorts? Patterned trousers can be hard to pull off, shorts allow a lot more freedom I think.

It gets quite sweaty on the tube; do you have a style tip and a non-style tip to overcome this?

I walk to work, it’s great for my positive mental health.

Is there a big event you have planned for this year and if so, do you have a key outfit planned?

I'm heading to Tokyo next week, I haven't got as far as planning my outfits yet, but I do feel an overwhelming pressure to look good while I'm there haha. The day to day levels of style you see walking around the city is so high. Very inspiring.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

I picked up the jacket and trousers because I like their silhouettes, they have slightly curved and exaggerated details. I lean towards garments that have interesting cuts in neutral colours, rather than bright colours, prints or graphics. Everything else I'm wearing are my wardrobe essentials.

Spring is here, how are you finding the transition style-wise?

Enjoying it! It's nice to not feel weighed down by heavy layers and itchy wools. Now that I can roll out the house wearing silks and jerseys, I'm chuffed.

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

Any of my long loose dresses, I can't bear clinging fabrics when the weathers warm - the looser the better.

It gets quite sweaty on the tube; do you have tip overcome this?

Ride a bike or walk; avoid public transport as much as possible.

Do you have a key summer purchase and somewhere you want to wear it to?

At the moment I'm trying to avoid impulse buying for the sake of one-off events. I'm stripping my wardrobe back and reinvesting in the fundamentals. Last week I picked up a pair of black boots by Diemme and a pair of black sandals by Ganni - they're my favourite purchases this year, as they're easy to wear and they'll last me a long time.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

I find it hard not to buy Wacko Maria shirts due to the quality and craftsmanship - it’s by far my favourite brand. Wood Wood Tristan trousers are a smarter alternative for me when I don't want to wear Jeans. Converse are smashing it with seasonal prints at the moment; I'm a sucker for leopard print.

Spring is here, how are you finding the transition style-wise?

To be honest I still can't wait for it to get hotter so I can bring out more shorts and short sleeve shirts.

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

Hawaiian shirts! I'm starting to wear them all year round now with long sleeves underneath. Timeless style.

It gets quite sweaty on the tube; do you have tip overcome this?

I avoid the tube like the plague. Horrible place.

Ray wears: Beanie by Unused, T-Shirts by Unused and Needles, Trousers by Dickies, Sneakers by Vans, Necklace by Maple.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

I don’t think I really put' outfits 'together haha. I wore an Unused waffle top as I didn’t want to wear a jacket - it’s white and hard to keep clean, so I threw on a Needles rebuild tee. Dickies pants are pretty much an everyday staple for me, goes with everything and can be dressed up or down. I love the contrasting colours of my Brain Dead socks

Spring is here, how are you finding the transition style wise?

I love denim jackets, so slightly warmer weather means I get to wear more from my wardrobe.

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

My customised Levi's denim jackets. Not only essential for spring/summer, but all year round as a layering piece.

It gets quite sweaty on the tube; do you have tip overcome this?

A portable hand held fan to keep ya cool and blow away all the terrible smells. If you’re wearing a jacket you can tie it around your waist.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

You caught me off guard, I have every pattern in my wardrobe on. I’m a big fan of prints and a subtle pop of colour.

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

My spring summer staple is always a short-sleeve rayon shirt. Think leopard, Hawaiian and even apple print. I’m halfway there to owning the Stan Ray smiley face set, it’s the perfect summer getaway outfit.

It gets quite sweaty on the tube; do you have tip overcome this?

Avoid the tube at all costs. Buy a bike, buy a helmet and breeze your way from A to B.

Talk us through your outfit today. What made you buy those pieces and put them together like that…

One of my favourite wardrobe pieces is the Zucca skirt, often worn with a basic sweat or tee. This is my no-fuss outfit; lightweight layers and comfortable.

What is your essential spring/summer transitional piece?

A lightweight jacket. The LF Markey Chore jacket a perfect transitional piece, easy for layering under or on top of.

It gets quite sweaty on the tube; do you have tip overcome this?

You can't dress for the tube. It can be 30 degrees down there, but cold outside. However, a Goodhood tote bag is key to have at the ready, so you can fill it with all your excess layers.

Is there a big event you have planned for this year, and if so, do you have a key outfit planned?

No holidays booked yet. But the Pink Dr Martens Clarissa II Quad sandal are at the top of my list, they’re the perfect shade of pink! Next purchase is the Aries snow skirt, ideal for summer at the beach or park, even layered with an oversized knit come winter.
