Goodhood x Joy Division
Our latest collaboration sees us team up with Factory Records' iconic art director Peter Saville, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Joy Division’s seminal 1979 album Unknown Pleasures.
The highly limited 13-piece collection is based on a lesser known piece of pop-trivia: the album’s classic black sleeve – one of the most iconic designs in popular music – was originally intended to be white with black pulsar waves. So, in recognition of this, we have produced a collaborative capsule collection that spans apparel, homeware, accessories and lifestyle goods, all adopting an ‘inverse’ colour scheme.
As well as Peter Saville and Joy Division, we have also joined forces with a number of our favourite brands – including Universal Works, YMC, Stepney Workers Club, Tom Wood & Big Love Records – to create a diverse range that truly celebrates Saville’s iconic design.
The collection launches on June 28th at 11am – Enter for the chance to purchase via our launches platform now. Join us in store on Thursday 27th June, from 6.30-8.30pm where we will be hosting an exclusive launch party to celebrate the release of the project. As well as the opportunity to purchase the collection on the evening - 12 hours before the online release, there also will be free beers courtesy of Old Blue Last.
