Started in 1992 by then 18-year old James Lavelle, Mo'Wax went on to become one of the UK's most forward thinking record labels, blending a unique pot of influences as diverse as Star Wars, Def Jam, Manga and Graffiti culture. The label was also famed for its visual identity, and pioneered the concept of collaboration between music culture and fashion, partnering with brands such as Alexander McQueen, Supreme and A Bathing Ape. The book acts as a celebration of Mo'Wax's history, but also of an entire culture. Includes contributions from Futura, Mike Mills, DJ Shadow, Rammellzee, Nigo, Mark Gonzales, Aaron Rose, Tommy Guerrero & many more.
