1989 - The launch. DKNY was one of the first companies to embrace a new medium; video. The original soundtrack was Man in the Mirror by Michael Jackson but the rights were too expensive. Pre-internet, the video was played in Donna Karan boutiques in department stores across America.

1994 - Peter Lindbergh shot many DKNY campaign photographs embodying the spirit and Downtown attitude of the brand.






1995 - DKNY Campaign imagery.






 1995 - promotional imagery for DKNY Hollywood.





1999 - DKNY Spring/Summer campaign. Throughout the mid 90s and early 2000s DKNY's campaign imagery was just as iconic, but a little more on the colouful side.





 2015 - Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne take the reigns at DKNY for the Spring 16 collection, nine years after launching their own brand in New York; Public School.





2016 - DKNY's SS16 collection remains true to the core values of the brand, riffing off the iconic pinstripe power suit and utilising some of Peter Lindberghs earlier photographs.
