Before there was Nike, there were two men who pioneered a revolution within the athletics industry that redefined the trainers industry completely. Coaches and athletes themselves, the group formed Blue Ribbon Sports, a store that would eventually lay the foundations for Nike. Into the 70's and Nike were starting to become noticed, not only for their distinctive Swoosh logo, but also for the lightweight construction of their track and field footwear.
