This season's Vault by Vans x WTAPs offering marks their 14th collaboration since the two iconic brands began officially working together in 2006. To highlight this stand out long term partnership, we worked alongside Vans to deliver a celebration of an era that played an intrinsic role in both brand's history - 1980's skateboarding. From sparking the inspiration for the bones motif that adorns many of these collaborative styles, to being identified by WTAPS founder Tetsu Nishiyama as one of his early influences to create the brand, 80's skateboarding's rich visual culture and undeniable attitude continue to have a lasting impact on modern-day street culture.
