Swedish boutique perfumery 19-69 has the tagline “bottling countercultre”, meaning all the scents are inspired by and made to preserve historical moments in the 60s. Female Christ was inspired by the performance art piece The Female Christ, we’ll let you google this one, but essentially the female artist made a powerful statement walking naked through Copenhagen with a wooden cross. This complex woody fragrance takes cues from the performance, with a mix of Patchouli, Rhubarb and Cashmere Wood notes. It’s totally captivating and unlike anything else we’ve smelt before.
