ASSISTANT BUYER - WOMENSWEARÂ
We are looking for a driven, detail-orientated, and entrepreneurial Assistant Buyer to join the buying team at Goodhood to oversee Womenswear brands and categories across both in-store and online channels.
The ideal candidate should already be working at Assistant Buyer level and be confident in managing a portfolio of brands from the initial ranging, managing delivery to trade.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Buying:
- Assist in the selection of seasonal assortments – working collaboratively with management to create and quantify in line with overall open-to-buy plan and buying strategy.
- Understanding of the wider market and competitors, seeking out missed and new opportunities with regards to price, product, and proposition with the aim of being first-to-market and suitable for the Goodhood customer.
- Participate in the seasonal buying strategies and open-to-buy planning with management.
- Ensuring core lines are replenished in-season.
- Identifying new brands and potential opportunities.
Trade & Marketing:
- Report and contribute to company trade meetings and weekly store meeting.
- Understand daily and weekly trade performance and be able to make commercial judgements to improve sales and manage risk. Suggest actions in trade meeting to propose to wider team.
- Understanding of sales, profit, and margin.
- Working closely with brands to propose and manage stocks, swaps, delivery management, reorders and any other actions relating to the optimisation of sell through and profitability.
- Involvement in planning marketing and social content to ensure products/brands are launched with conviction and to help with sales performance.
- Oversee VM of own area in-store and online.
- Provide styling guidelines and direction to the studio team.
Preferable Skills:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Buyer from a branded background.
- Confident communicator and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables).
- Experience in Shopify or Brightpearl would be beneficial.

STORE SUPERVISORÂ
We are looking for a confident, assertive and proactive team leader to join us at Goodhood. The ideal candidate should have previous supervisor experience and be confident in leading and motivating a team.Â
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES TEAM AND ACHIEVING TARGETSÂ
- Report to the store management team daily, ensuring clear communication throughoutÂ
- Participate with the management of store staff, always acting as a professional point of contact
- Address problems with work quality, issues between employees and other concerns in an effective, timely mannerÂ
- Monitor sales information and act accordingly to achieve sales targets and individual KPIsÂ
- Oversee all staff are briefed and aware of daily and weekly sales targets Â
- Delegate roles and responsibilities daily to shop staffÂ
- Manage till operations, ensuring payments are processed correctly and cashing up is done daily
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, empower team members
TRAINING AND CUSTOMER SERVICEÂ
- Ensure staff are delivering high levels of excellent customer service Â
- Participate and contribute to Goodhood shop staff team training sessionsÂ
- Be mindful of sales in-store, noting patterns, trends, requests etc. and feed back to the teamÂ
- Liaise with brands on gifting and incentives for store staffÂ
- Deal with any customer complaints and issues Â
- Deal with customer returns and contact brands to organise faulty items to be repaired or replaced, ensuring the customer is kept up to date on the situation Â
SHOP FLOOR AND STANDARDS Â
- Daily upkeep and standards walk around the store to rectify any issuesÂ
- Ensure visual merchandising is kept to the Goodhood standardÂ
- Ensure shop floor is clean and tidy daily at all times without exceptionÂ
- Make sure the shop fixtures and fittings are in working order and immaculateÂ
- Ensure new product is on the shop floor and communicate with the warehouse where product is neededÂ
- Run stock checks regularly to ensure all stock and the right quantities are out on the shop floorÂ
- Liaise with warehouse regarding missing stock and stock replenishmentÂ
- Check products are priced correctly, and security taggedÂ
- Ensure stock is replenished and the shop floor is fully stockedÂ
- Always set a professional standard Â
Preferable Skills:
- Previous experience as a supervisor in aÂ

- Sales Achievement: Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets.
- Clienteling: Build and maintain a loyal client base through follow-ups and personalized service.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about product details to enhance customer service
- Store Presentation: Ensure the store is visually appealing and merchandise is well-organized, whilst keeping on top of store standards.
- Operational Support: Assist with stock management, inventory checks, and visual merchandising.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain a positive and collaborative work enviroment
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, preferably in fashion or lifestyle sectors.

- Flexibility: Ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
