We currently have roles for the following position:

 

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER:

Typically working within a small team, the Assistant Store Manager will support and help the Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operation of the store, influencing the performance of the team and driving trade wherever possible. Candidates will need to have a track record of motivating and inspiring a store team to deliver the highest standards of customer service. The candidate must be responsible, accountable with strong leadership skills.

Key to this role is being a self starter, willing to go above and beyond what is expected on a daily basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Deputising and assisting in the store leadership alongside store manager:
  • Running daily team briefings
  • Reporting Daily Sales against KPIs, suggesting issues and corresponding actions
  • Monitor and manage daily performance through effective zoning and monitoring sales team closely looking for potential to over deliver
  • Ensuring daily checklist are delivered and signed off to uphold highest possible store standards
  • Custodian of store VM standards
  • Motivating, training, and mentoring the store team
  • Supporting the Store Manager to manage the team to keep a high performance through individual and store sales
  • Monitoring and managing sales team through individual targets
  • Provide excellent service levels in store and ensure this is delivered from every member of staff and using CS training programme
  • Delivering store strategies to increase customer data recruitment and grow store traffic
  • Scheduling store team training sessions
  • Support and challenge the team to keep building customer relationships and deliver a high standard of customer service
  • Focus on clientelling and delivering exceptional customer service to key segments
  • Inspire teamwork and motivate staff to ensure good morale
  • Lead by example ensuring the team represent the Goodhood brand
  • Inducting, training, and developing new staff
  • Assisting to complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Manage rotas and effectively communicating
