A localised economy keeps the benefit of industry within its geographic area and amongst its residents. Local makers, local to our store in East London, and its surroundings areas are a key part of the vision of a good neighbourhood (Goodhood). This way we support local industry, keep the money in the local economy, reduce the need for excess transportation, and keep the local area thriving. We feel strongly about keeping neighbourhoods, their stores and industries alive and by buying local, we can encourage our customers to shop local and we can all benefit from the thriving areas we live in and like to visit.
