Role Overview

Goodhood is looking for a reliable, hands-on and proactive Janitor / Facilities & Maintenance Assistant to help keep our store, café and warehouse clean, safe, well-maintained and presentable.

This is a practical role for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the small details and is happy to get stuck in wherever needed. Alongside regular cleaning duties, the role will involve basic maintenance, repairs and general upkeep across the Goodhood spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Café Cleaning & Hygiene

  • Carry out a thorough deep clean of the café every morning before opening
  • Clean and sanitise café toilets, including sinks, floors, mirrors and other surfaces
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the café
  • Clean café floors, surfaces, fixtures and other areas as required
  • Empty bins and manage waste appropriately
  • Identify and report any maintenance, hygiene or safety issues

Store Cleaning

  • Keep the Goodhood store clean, tidy and presentable throughout the week
  • Regularly clean floors, surfaces, fixtures, windows and other customer-facing areas
  • Ensure staff areas and other non-public spaces are maintained to a good standard
  • Carry out additional cleaning when required, including after busy periods, deliveries or events

Warehouse Cleaning & Organisation

  • Maintain cleanliness and general tidiness throughout the warehouse
  • Clean floors, work areas and other warehouse spaces regularly
  • Keep walkways and working areas clear and safe
  • Assist with maintaining an organised and presentable working environment
  • Carry out deeper cleaning tasks as required

Basic Maintenance & Repairs

  • Carry out basic repairs and general maintenance around the store, café and warehouse
  • Touch up paintwork and repair minor cosmetic damage
  • Fix or replace small fixtures and fittings where appropriate
  • Identify issues that require specialist attention and report them promptly
  • Help keep the buildings, furniture, fixtures and equipment in good condition
  • Take a proactive approach to spotting things that need fixing rather than waiting to be asked

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who is:

What Success Looks Like

The store, café and warehouse are consistently clean, tidy, safe and well-maintained.

The café is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the day every morning, the store and warehouse remain in good condition throughout the week, and small maintenance issues are dealt with quickly before they become bigger problems.

The ideal person will take ownership of the spaces and treat them as if they were their own.

About the Role

Goodhood is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead the next phase of our brand growth.

Key Responsibilities

Role

This role sits at the centre of Goodhood’s digital operation, working directly with the E-commerce & Digital Manager to drive performance across all online channels.

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the website and wider digital marketing ecosystem, ensuring campaigns are executed to a high standard, on time, and with a clear commercial focus.

You will act as a key link between departments including Creative, Studio, Customer Service and Warehouse, helping to keep the digital function aligned, efficient and accountable.

Responsibilities

E-commerce & Trading

  • Support the daily trading of the website, ensuring products, collections and content are accurate and optimised
  • Own site merchandising, including category curation, product sorting and launch execution
  • Monitor site performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rate and average order value
  • Ensure all product launches are set up correctly and delivered on time

Campaign Execution

  • Manage the delivery of campaigns across site, email and paid channels
  • Brief and coordinate with Creative and Studio teams
