Satta tells a story of livity, a word rooted in Rastafarian culture - meaning a lifestyle which embodies a connectedness, balance and harmony with nature and all of creation. Inspired by the rawness and simplicity in the roots of skateboarding in the late 60s where surfing made its transition onto land. Satta's first offering was a range of hardwood 'sidewalk surfer' skateboards, handcrafted in their Brixton based workshop with wood salvaged from local timber mills.
Launching its first clothing collection in the summer of 2014, always taking cues from the natural world, with garments crafted in Portugal from organic cotton, and a colour palette inspired by plant and earth tones, the clothing echoes a down to earth aesthetic made for living in.
